The word translated as law in our Bibles is Torah in Hebrew. It refers to the first five books of the Bible.
From the very defination, it can be seen that all Torah is not Law. Genesis sure isn't about Law.
Once again literal Hebrew comes to our help. Torah literally means "Teaching".
Now, that changes the things dramatically. Bible, the Pentateuch, is definately to teach us. It is a teaching.
So, why was it translated as Law?
The answer is obvious; Two reasons-
1. All the books of Pentateuch except Genesis deal with commands given to Hebrews via Moses(Moshe). They are called Law of Moses, while it will read as Torah of Moses, or Teaching of Moses, given to him by God. But, since commands are more associated with Laws, that became that.
2. The allegorisation by Jewish Rabbis which termed every command as a law, every teaching as a law. It actually is, but in a different way. For the moment, I beg you to remember that teachings are a bit different from laws.
Now, lets do the same thing again. Take your bible, esp OT and replace every place word 'law' occurs with 'teaching'.
Here is an example.
Leviticus 25:18
" 'Follow my decrees and be careful to obey my laws, and you will live safely in the land

By the above, one thing is clear. Jesus and God wanted Jews to obey, the teachings, which is the sum of what was revealed to Moses. They were never expected to legalise everything and making strict man made laws concerning days like Sabbath which prevail even today. Even today Jews count the steps on sabbath so they might not violate it.
Jesus openly violated it! Why they were man made laws! He wanted them to get a Sabbath teaching, which will encourage them to do good on Sabbath. Healing, helping does not violate the teaching of Sabbath. However, it surely does violate the Law of Sabbath!
Isaiah 2:3
Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem

This is an astounding prophecy which has changed my life.
It has been fulfilled, is being fulfilled and will be fulfilled and be continue to be fulfilled to eternity.
How ?
the teaching and the word of the Lord has always gone out from Sion and Jerusalem. They always have been. Your bible is a a living testament of that. your life is a living testament of that.
What is one of the titles of Jesus? The Word (John 1:1)
Isn't it. Now, try reading it this way.

The word, and the teachings of Jesus did went out from Jerusalem and it is the gospel which we believe. Is anything more important than the gospel ? No, My friends I do not think so,
This way it has been fulfilled in Past.
In present, There are more Jews coming to Yeshua as never before, in 10 years, an increase of 500% has been seen. They call themselves Messianic Jews.
They are fulfilling this prophecy by radio, TV, and their ministries. The word of the Lord is going from Jerusalem. God TV is also fulfilling this prophecy. It has it headquarters in Jerusalem. Jesus of the Lord is going from Jerusalem to the uttermost parts of the earth!!!
In future, it will be fulfilled in such a marvellous way, that makes my heart beat leap.
Yeshua/ Jesus will rule from Jerusalem and then this prophecy will be fulfiilled throughout the end of it!
Then, after the final war with Satan when the New Jerusalem in the New Earth will be present, this word will still be true, for eternity!!!
Did not Jesus say that "not one dot will pass away..."
Isaiah 51:4
